Este mes en Bundt Bakers, nuestra anfitriona Tanya de Dessert Stalking nos propuso una receta de Bundt Cake con nuestro ingrediente favorito: chocolate, que podía ser en cualquiera de sus formas.

Quise hacer un Bundt Cake de chocolate que fuera extra jugoso y húmedo y después de hacer varias pruebas he conseguido mi propósito.

I wanted to make an extra-moist chocolate Bundt and after several tests I achieved my goal with this lovely cake.

Here are February’s Chocolate themed Bundt Bakers:

 

 

Chocolate Buttermilk Bundt Cake 

 

Ingredientes:

 

 

Elaboración:

 

  1. Precalentar el horno a 180ºC
  2. Batir mantequilla y el azúcar.
  3. Ir añadiendo los huevos de uno en uno batiendo y mezclando bien.
  4. Añadir el aceite y la pasta de vainilla y mezclar un par de minutos.
  5. En un bol tamizar harina, polvos de hornear, bicarbonato, cacao y sal. Reservar.
  6. Añadir el buttermilk y la mezcla de harina reservada alternativamente y mezclando bien.
  7. Verter la masa en un molde de bundt y hornear unos 50-60 minutos hasta que un cake tester  o palillo salga limpio.
  8. Enfriar 15 minutos en una rejilla.
  9. Invertir el Bundt y enfriar completamente.

 

ENGLISH RECIPE

 

Ingredients:

 

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 stick butter  (or 1/2 cup)
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt

 

Directions:

 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.
  2. With an electric mixer beat together butter and sugar.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time beating well after each addition.
  4. Add the oil and vanilla extract and beat a couple of minutes.
  5. In a medium bow whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, cocoa powder and baking soda. Set aside.
  6. Add buttermilk and flour mixture alternately, mixing well
  7. Pour the batter into a bundt pan and bake 50-60 minutes till a tester comes out clean.
  8. Cool 15 minutes in pan on a wire rack.
  9. Invert cake onto rack and cool completely.
